The Problem
What This System Was Built to Solve
Genba audit findings were recorded on paper or informal spreadsheets with no workflow enforcement, no accountability tracking, and no visibility into resolution progress. Follow-ups happened via WhatsApp — no documented audit trail, no due date monitoring, no escalation mechanism.
The System
What Was Built
A Google Apps Script web application built on Google Sheets for managing genba (on-site) audit findings from discovery to closure. Teams log findings with before/after photo documentation, assign responsible PICs, and track resolution through an 8-stage structured workflow with role-based action controls. Automated email notifications and Google Calendar integration ensure deadlines are visible and nothing is missed. Zero infrastructure cost — runs entirely within Google Workspace.
